Children’s Ministry

First Presbyterian Church of Pasadena seeks to embrace the faith of each child through God’s love and guidance. Our church family is dedicated to the exploration and development of each child’s faith journey. We offer Sunday school classes for nursery age children through High School.

At First Presbyterian, we strive to help you plant the seed of spiritual growth for you and your family.

Blessings,
Jo Ann Currie

POPSICLES ON THE PLAYGROUND – Noon-2:00

COME RELAX IN THE SHADE OF THE PLAYGROUND TREES

JUNE 5, JULY 3 & AUGUST 7

Each month after our first Sunday lunch, we will gather for popsicles and playtime (POP). The Discipleship Committee will provide water to drink and popsicles to slurp as the children play in the water and adults circle up in adirondack chairs, enjoying the peace, beauty and one another in the shade of the playground trees. Come “sit a spell” while we practice the art of stillness this summer.

“S’MORE SUMMER FUN”

FOR THE WHOLE FPC FAMILY & FRIENDS

FRIDAY, AUGUST 12, 6-10 P.M.

On the second Friday in August, as our summer winds down, come extend the season for the evening at our third annual end of summer celebration. We will gather in our own church “backyard” near the playground where we will roast hot dogs and make s’mores over a fire pit, sing songs, play flashlight games and croquet, star gaze, go on a “night walk through the woods” or simply relax with friends in the breeze of a summer night. Come make memories that will last a lifetime as we enjoy God’s world in the beauty of our own backyard. No need to bring anything except a flashlight, a friend and a spirit of play and rest. The Discipleship Committee will provide food, drinks, and anything else we might need.
