What can YOU do at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN?

Worship – We have some youth who serve in the liturgist rotation for the 11:00 a.m. service.  Other youth share their musical gifts through special music.  

Sunday School - We have youth Sunday School classes for Junior High and Senior High. We are using the PCUSA "We Believe" study lessons. This study explores faith questions that were asked by a group of 200+ youth surveyed. We wanted our classes to be about those things that are on the minds of youth today.

Youth fun, fellowship, service 

Connect - Our youth connect with other youth as they participate in activities involving other students in other Presbyterian churches. They take part in Youth Rallies and Weekend conclaves at Camp Cho-Yeh.

Service - Our youth also get involved in service projects the church supports like Souperbowl of Caring, Christian Relief Overseas Program (CROP) and trips to the Seafarers Center at the Port of Houston.

Discipleship - Houston Area Youth Celebration – Our youth love this weekend at Camp Cho Yeh.  Youth Celebration is a crash course in how to live the Christian life.  It is a time to be truly and completely loved by God.  You will be fully and totally accepted by all the adults and kids there to serve you.
